Cezvicef-TZ (Ceftriaxone & Tazobactam) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination used to treat respiratory infections (pneumonia, bronchitis), urinary tract infections (UTIs), intra-abdominal infections, septicemia, post-surgical infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and meningitis. The addition of Tazobactam helps overcome beta- lactamase-producing bacteria, making Ceftriaxone more effective against drug-resistant strains.

Composition

Each vial contains:

Ceftriaxone A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death.
Tazobactam A beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances Ceftriaxone’s efficacy by preventing bacterial resistance.
